that time of summer.....

whee! so I did it.. I graduated.. I walked across the stage and accepted my fake diploma. well its not fake.. but UNM makes your wait.. they send it to you in the mail so it doesn't get lost.  but in all honesty thats not why I wrote that title.  I think iv decided to name myself Mamason.  It seems as of lately that without even asking people, I know most of the couples that may, will or could be happening soon in intervarsity and otherwise.   I dont know why such great power has been to afforded to me. It's a strange power considering I know not why they ask me for advice.  the only advice I can give them is based off of what I'v seen in other friends that have dated and gotten married.  So I guess thats not too bad I suppose.  I just wish I had some sort of awesome powers to figure this stuff for ME.  yeah i'm 24.. never "really" dated.  and been kissed a totally of once in my life.. and it was a stolen kiss..  meaning i didn't want it to happen.  I maybe be able to spot out couples amongst my friends.. but for some reason for myself?  I am COMPLETELY clueless.  So to all the girls that do have guys that do the sweet things of texting them every day,, just calling to chat randomly...   i saw "awwwwww how sweet do you need a mallet to hit you to know he likes you????".. dont let him go.  IT seems the only ones that like ME.. are the one's I dont like.. aren't christians, or are well stalkers.. lets face it.. most girls haven't had as many stalkers as me....   ok sorry just had to get that off my chest.. I'm just saying you guys and girls are asking the advice of a girl who generally ends up liking the guy that doesn't like her, or has guys ask her out she doesn't like.. ..

Blind guy on the interstate

  WOW. So I thought today was kind of boring.  then today when I was leaving Rudys  and driving to the overpass over I25 when  I and another lady in a truck saw a blind guy walking down the freeway ramp..... yes you read that right.  SO I did what any good american would... I started honking endlessly at the guy before hte light turned green. then when that didin't work and others just avoided hitting by scootching over when driving down I went and pulled a Uey as soon as the light hit green and raced back to the ramp.  I got there and managed to pull over put my blinkers on and run out of the car to see another anderson student like me do the same thing!  Me n the guy had trouble at first convincing the guy that he was walking the wrong way, but we managed to convince him to turn around and head back towards where the overpass was.  Then we both stopped and waited and made sure he was on a sidewalk and left.   needless to say... OHMGOSH that was sooo scary!!! God was totally there to protect that guy! I am also thankful that other student from anderson stopped to make sure the guy didn't do anything to me.   but wow.. not everyday this kind of stuff happens!

   So as you all know this is apparently "dead" weak for most people.  It sounds like this should be a week where you get to breathe.. and then dive into finals. Well you would be wrong.. every last one of you. WRONG.  I not only am finishing 5 of my classes this week. I took a final LAST week too. yeah I know ridiculous.....I literally will be done with exams after tuesday of next week. which means I can sleep in wednesday.. thursday..and friday. Yup I'm excited for the sleeping in stuff. its exciting..!

   also. I love swimming..  i know random.. from finals to swimming. well let me tell you why.   I swam 10 laps today...or 9.. lets pretend its 10 to sound even.   well I think this swimming is actually making me less stressed. I'm not uber sore after swimming, but I know my entire body got a work out because i feel sooo relaxed after swimming.. and tired. very tired. the things I do to not be stressed..lol

so to recap... one final next week.. done with most classes by thursday...  then i'll be done.. unless for some crazy reason later i want to get a masters.. which i dont entirely want to do unless the place I work at says " hey get a masters. we will pay".... I find it ridiculous that today's bachelor  degree is like getting an associates and the masters is really the bachelors equivalent.   you know what this really means?  instead of letting us take classes that are only major oriented they decided hum  lets bilk more money out of their pockets and make them think that the only way they can get a DECENT job is to get a masters.. Its crap. find a trade.. learn to fix stuff.. i dont know.. still stupid....

fun note..... I told my teacher that her class wasn't interesting the other day. I told her if she had us doing hands on projects then i would have felt like i learned more.. I also told her this random test thingy she gave us that everyone got 100's on.. was a waste of time .  We shouldn't have had to do it.   I must have been in a " tell of teacher " mode. oh well.... I think she actually added some points to my grades the other day on webct.. so maybe she appreciated my honesty?  Maybe i should ahve told her that.. AFTER i graduated??   lol..

procrastination..finals

 I have decided that classes should not have a final project, final paper,and final test..    it should be one thing or the other.. but not 3 things.  THis means while i'm working on a paper for a class I'll be thinking hum. I should maybe be studying for the test in this class, or finishing the project.  and lets not stop at that.. i have more then just that class to focus on.. great..  dont you just love the end of the semester?  It rocks..

So what am i doing right now?   well believe it or not my brain stopped functioning like at 3 today..all attempts to revive have been unsuccessful.  so right now i'm not trully thinking.  this is all your getting right now.. instant ideas. that instead of going into my brain are going into the blog.  You know what this means? I am not going to the cave.    i need to go home.. i need to sleep.. I need to work on projects and understand them.  I need to graduate.  I need sleep...... reaaallly really want sleep.   ok im done..    cant think..must zone..out

Announcements are in!

WHEEEEE  I got my graduation announcements in the mail!  Which means I now have to actually go through the process of literally writing out addresses, and well sending them all out. Tell me how do I find time to 1) find a job 2) study so I can graduate and be able to find option 1, and 3) fill out graduation cards so people will send me stuff?  If I had the option I wouldnt necessarily do cards.  But my parents, my grandparents, and my extended family and well adopted families may get a little sad because they have been waiting for this for a very LONG time now.  So somehow either tomorrow, or maybe tuesday I need to set aside like an hour to just going through and writing out and sending these silly graduation announcements.  

Ok enough about that

Today I got to study with my friend Nikki Zaman.  She is pretty much amazing.  Neither of us are majoring in anything remotely similar. Which somehow makes studying together that much more awesome.  yes thats right! I get a ton done with I study with her!  Plus amazing things happen like crazy pictures are drawn when our brains become like mush and we need a break,, and ooo yes even jumping contests to reach the ceiling of the cave!

What is the cave?

For all those NON-UNM people.  There is a library. This library is called the Parish Library.  ( or some long official title).  It is not Zimmerman.  This library is open 24 hrs.  I spend a good 6 hours every night doing homework down here in the basement of the library.  I have somehow  convinced around 6 other kids in intervarsity to join me in my insane studying habits.  We have taken to calling the room we frequent the "cave".  We even made our group official on facebook. Go ahead look up the " parish procrastinators Study group" on facebook if you want. We basically study and get good grades all while having fun and well talking to other students in the parish library. Its awesome.. and sometimes.. crazyness happens.   The other day we got a mascot... can you guess what it is? its a pig..... a piggy bank to be exact.  Its pink.. and its name is wilbur.  My good friend Lindsey is charge of Wilbur, because after i graduate, I hope I dont have to study at the bottom of Parish anymore.... k i am done

hmm graduating?

So ...  It is now 3 weeks till graduating which means my brain is going AHHHHHHHHHHHHH.  aka If your one of those people who takes pleasure in asking me "what do you want to do after you graduate"... umm I don't know stop asking your just hurting my brain with this incessant asking!! Also at this rate I think I wont get my graduation invitations in the mail untill after I graduate.
             I mean really why is it taking SOOO freaking long to get them in the mail?  By the time I get them.. then mail them I"ll already have had my ceremony and gotten my degree. what kind of crap is this?.. oh well.   As long as I get some sort of graduation money...  ok time to go back to homework... whoever reads this. why? its soo boring!

Hiya!
   So this is my fun blog.  I'm just gonna write whatever amuses me for the day.  I think it could be fun!
my musing for the day so far? Well as some may know I am now in my senior year of school. Which apparently at Anderson means you get all the a) really exciting totally crude teachers and b) the really boring really nice teachers that put you to sleep.  


other random note..      monday is now subway day for Chelsey.   I am at school from 11am to 9pm..  it sucks.. 2 hours short of being there for 12 hours. i mean is that not ridiculous? ??  I am going to eat subway every Monday,  because bringing three meals to school makes me look like the crazy bag lady. Just saying Im crazy enough looking on my own without looking more crazy...


random note to person who sits on bus and says the f word every 3 words..  its not cute, its not sexy, and it hurts my ears..  just stop.. and relearn on how to talk! I mean seriously!

happy note of the day!  It snowed yesterday AND I got to do some painting for the High school play at my church!  Lets talk about how much fun that was! ..  watching the snow fall softly while painting? that my friends is a fun fun time!  then after that I got to go to Bible Study with intervarsity at UNM.   It was fun we ate playdough and lots of candy.. which might explain why I couldn’t sleep last night..   

ok at this point I should say I dont know the real format for blogging. I sound silly and weird I am sure! but eh oh well!  I hope you enjoyed reading what I have written today so far ! talk to you all later! bye!!
